For logic is a homespun system: a system whereby a brick is considered a foundation, such as the word of God, with further bricks indifferently piled on top. The resulting edifice provides security, is easy to live in, and, referred to as logic, provides the feeling of being on the side of reason and truth.
In everyday life and also in many academic works the thus knocked up structures are constantly repeated. And because this is only abstract anyway, people simply chatter away at cross purposes.
