“I have no particular talent. I am merely inquisitive.”

Leaving aside the question as to what constitutes a talent and how a talent is implemented in real life: curiosity is the substance of experience and also of each kind of theory and of insight into what is happening now and has happened in the past.

Although the German word for curiosity, Neugier, sounds a bit odd because it contains Gier (greed), which is rightfully considered disreputable, greed for something new is totally understandable – and this is also true when the new things also include something old.

Therefore: let’s stay curious.
