But beyond that: How do we interpret this remark, regardless of her own assessment, in view of the fact that it was made by a woman working in a scientific field (abstract algebra and theoretical physics) that is perceived as “abstract” and clearly male-related? Anonymity as quality or once again (female) invisibility?
