This perception is missing in everyday discourse and even more so in the academic one. People are always looking for the extraordinary – but, at best, this is only good enough for small talk or will be misleading because the designation of the alleged extraordinary has long become a habit.

Furthermore, the ignorance towards the mundane dramatises itself as pretentious and arrogant when the exciting everyday life is no longer perceived and explored, while the relevance of experience lies precisely in this everyday life, bringing movement to both our life and our thinking.
